Why I Love Designing

A curious and multi-disciplinary UX/Product designer with over 16 years of experience designing and building digital products for web and mobile platforms.

Design has been my jam for over 16 years now. It's more than a job—it's my way of spreading empathy and making everyone feel included, something I didn't always feel growing up. My journey into this world started way back, zigzagging through different roles and gigs that taught me a ton about how design can connect us all.

Teaching students at a UX academy has been my latest adventure, guiding young minds into this crazy, beautiful world of design. It's in these classrooms that I see the spark light up in these students' eyes, realizing the power of design beyond just pixels and screens.

My journey took a significant turn when I founded a non-profit for foster youth, where I saw design's magic in action—solving real-world problems while embracing empathy. That 'aha' moment fueled my mission: to keep crafting designs that aren't just solutions but voices for the unseen.

So, after all these years in the game, my goal remains the same: to design with heart, to create spaces where everyone's story matters, and to empower through pixels and code.

Innovative and empowering consumer products

Fueled by an entrepreneurial drive and a Master of Design, I thrive on crafting from scratch—whether nurturing startups or sculpting impactful educational programs. What truly ignites my passion is uniting people around a collective vision. Beyond design, coding is my canvas for bringing designs to life. Transforming concepts into tangible, functional products fuels my joy. I revel in the art of coding, using semantic JavaScript, HTML, and Sass to weave my designs into engaging digital realities. It's this seamless fusion of design and coding that empowers me to not just dream up ideas but to breathe life into them, turning concepts into vibrant digital experiences.

There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing someone light up while using a product I've helped create. Personal life and inspiration

I'm a free-spirited, open, and quirky product designer who loves to challenge the status quo inside and outside of work

I split my time between Skopje, Macedonia, and traversing Europe, immersing myself in diverse cultures and landscapes. My multi-city lifestyle and extensive travels across Europe have shaped a unique lens through which I perceive the world and its people. These experiences deeply influence my design methodologies and problem-solving approaches, infusing my work with a rich tapestry of global insights and cultural perspectives.

Inspiration finds me in the everyday: a stranger's kindness, the grit of someone facing odds, or the small victories that light up a day. Books offer me new lenses, sparking ideas, while social media serves up a collage of diverse perspectives. These daily doses—be it a chat with a neighbor or a tweet—stir my creativity, reminding me that inspiration isn't just grand; it's in the fabric of our daily lives, waiting to be noticed and woven into something amazing.

Hobbies

All things adventurous in sports, music, food, travel, and games

I'm a social butterfly who loves nothing more than hanging out with friends and family, especially after a good game of basketball or a gym session. Hiking trails are my go-to for some outdoor fun. When I'm not exploring the great outdoors, you'll often find me in the gaming zone, mastering PlayStation adventures. But my ultimate joy comes from spending quality time with my kids, creating cherished moments that I'll treasure forever. I thrive on challenges, be it scaling actual mountains or conquering virtual ones, always eager for new adventures and unforgettable experiences.
