The goal of this project was to design an desktop responsive app and get it ready for launch. The project was completed in two phases. During the first phase the majority of the app was completed, and during the second phase additional features were added.
I have been working as a Lead designer on this project. For this project I created wireframes, defined flows, designed the UI as well as a couple of animations. Design is inline with Google's Material Design guidelines - per clients request. You can read about the process below.

Communication between HR and employees is lacking as the former spend a lot of time with cumbersome software, tracking data about absences, vacations, and hours worked. Requests for vacations or sicked days might fall through the cracks in offices with heigh employee counts.
Creating a minimalistic software that offers automatic calculations and forecast calendars for tracking all data relating to employee presences and absences. It allows tracking requests, editing employee info, and doing so with just a few clicks. This opens up HR staff for personal contact with employees, freeing up their workload.
After that I proceeded with creating a flowchart showing how the platform would be organized. The client had some features in mind so I made sure to discuss them and include them in the plan.
After we defined the flow and thus what screens we needed I proceeded with creating the low-fid wireframes to explore the experience in more detail on a screen-by-screen level, for all the steps and interactions we thought we would need.
We then took the wireframes and conducted some user testing to see how usable the builder truly was. This gave us some great information and we were able to make meaningful decisions and subsequent changes.
With all of the feedback, we iterated one last time to create a high fidelity version. Here is Inteam, a desktop app to help employees manage their time.
The core idea was to make InTeam sleek and simple, no unnecessary buttons, no extra flair.Just a streamlined interface that guides the users to their goals; employees to their own pages and the info on their colleagues; HR staff to admin controls. InTeam's bright but not overly flashy color palette gives it a casual look to make sure the platform doesn't look all business. Most admin actions can be accomplished from a small side panel, making work with the system easy.
Our team created visually appealing and intuitive design with a lightweight system that scales well as the company grows. It offers plenty of info but keeps it concise, which is exactly what this type of product needed. With a few expansion features planned, InTeam is something we hope to provide for other companies needs and our team created a visually appealing and intuitive design with lightweight system that scales well as the company grows.
